Pricing

No price list. No surprise invoices.

Custom engineering scales with custom complexity — a band on a page would lie about that. So we don't. Get a real, project-specific number by email within a day.

Why no price list

Three reasons we don't post numbers.

01

A band would be a lie

A login flow can be R30k or R300k depending on auth, compliance, and integrations. A dashboard can be R80k or R800k depending on data, real-time-ness, and concurrent users. Posting a price band would lie about how custom engineering actually scales.

02

The AI does the rough number

The job a price list usually does — letting you self-qualify in 60 seconds — is done better by conversation. Ten minutes of conversation, a real ballpark scaled to your project, sent back to you in writing.

03

Real proposals, fixed scope

After discovery you get a written proposal with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Not a guesstimate range. Not a daily rate that climbs with the moon. A real number you can take to your finance team.

How pricing actually works

From first chat to final invoice.

01

Discovery is free

Chat with us or book a 30-minute call. You walk away with a clearer picture either way — even if you don't hire us.

02

Then a fixed-scope proposal

Written proposal with a fixed price for a defined scope, an architecture sketch, and a phased timeline. Reviewed by a partner before you see it.

03

50/50 or milestones

Most engagements are 50% on kickoff, 50% on handover. Larger builds use milestone payments tied to demo'd, working software.

04

Scope changes — in writing

Anything that changes the price changes in writing first, with your sign-off. No surprise invoices. Ever.

The Pricing Promise

Commitments. In writing on every engagement.

The biggest fear with custom engineering is being overcharged on the next invoice. We removed that fear with a set of hard rules — they go in every Master Services Agreement we sign.

01

What we quote is what you pay.

Fixed-scope work has a fixed price. If we underestimated, that's our problem to absorb — not yours to pay for.

02

No invoice contains a number you haven't seen.

Every billable line item is in a proposal or change order you signed off on first. No 'oh by the way' fees.

03

Scope creep gets a written change order.

If you ask for something new mid-build, we send you a written change order with the cost delta — and you decide whether to proceed before we touch it.

04

Time-and-materials work has a daily cap.

When the work genuinely needs T&M (e.g. a code rescue), we agree a daily cap up front. We never bill past it without asking.

05

Honesty over upselling.

If your project doesn't need the premium platform — or doesn't need us at all — we'll tell you. Repeat clients built that habit.

A founding partner signs every MSA. The promise sits in writing.

Ten minutes with us. A real proposal in your inbox by the next day.
